Photos & content
The photos and videos on this site belong to Emily. They may only be reused with her permission - just ask.
Clients' pets are only photographed and published with their owner's permission, and care is taken that no photo reveals where anyone lives.
Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal information is collected, why, and what your rights are. The person responsible for your data (the "data controller") is Emilie Soulat, reachable at emilie.soulat29@gmail.com.
When you visit this website
There are no forms, no accounts and no payments on this site, so you never have to enter any personal information. Two things happen in the background:
- Server logs. Like every website, the server that hosts this site automatically records technical details of each visit (IP address, browser, pages requested, date and time). They're used only to keep the site running and secure, and are deleted automatically after a short period by the hosting provider.
- Visit statistics. The site uses Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to count visits, see which pages are viewed, where visitors come from (for example a search engine or a flyer) and which contact buttons are clicked. Umami sets no cookies, doesn't store your IP address and only produces anonymous, aggregated figures - it can't be used to identify or follow you.
Fonts are hosted on this site directly: your browser doesn't contact any font provider.
When you contact Emily or book a service
If you get in touch by WhatsApp, phone or email, Emily receives the details you choose to share (name, phone number, email, your message). If you then book a service, she will also need some practical information: your address, how to access your home (keys, codes), an emergency contact, and details about your pet - routine, health, vet.
This information is used only to answer you, arrange and deliver the pet care you asked for, and keep you updated (for example, photos of your pet during a walk). It is stored securely, never sold, and never used for marketing.
Legal basis
- Contract: the information needed to answer your request and look after your pet.
- Legitimate interests: server logs (keeping the site secure) and anonymous visit statistics (understanding how the site is used, to improve it).
Who your data is shared with
Your data is never shared with anyone for their own purposes. It only passes through the services that make this site and contact possible: the web hosting provider, Umami (anonymous statistics), WhatsApp (Meta) for messages, and Gmail (Google) for email. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, notably in the United States, under the safeguards recognised by UK data protection law.
How long it's kept
- Messages that don't lead to a booking: deleted within 6 months.
- Client details: kept while you use Emily's services, then deleted within 2 years of the last booking.
- Keys are returned and access codes deleted as soon as the arrangement ends.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to see the information held about you, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to its use, or receive a copy of it. Just email emilie.soulat29@gmail.com - you'll get an answer within one month.
If you're unhappy with how your data is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113.

This site sets no cookies and doesn't store anything on your device, which is why you won't see a cookie banner.
